PTG provide a flexible approach to machining with a wide range of CNC machining centres enabling the supply of bespoke prototypes. Our CNC turning section has a comprehensive range of 2- and 3-axis machines, as well as 4-axis machines with driven tooling. This makes them ideal for production of 'one hit' components.

The toolroom is regularly upgraded, and contains a range of 2- and 3-axis conversational style machines capable of both small batch work and prototyping high-precision components.

Understanding the need for fast and efficient development and production, PTG promotes a strong team of professionals, backed by the latest technology.

A quality assurance programme and culture is maintained to ensure product defect is kept to absolute minimum; we allow only high-quality products to be dispatched. PTG recognise that quality assurance is an integral part of the out-sourcing package, and have invested in equipment and training to ensure this it he case. PTG prides itself on holding the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certification, which is regularly audited by the British Standards Institute (BSI).

The recent introduction of the well-proven Job-Boss production control system ensures that PTG has full control of all shop-floor functions, and access to live data at all times. Capacity planning and scheduling are paramount to ensure on-time delivery to deliver to our customers the flexibility they require.

As part of the total outsourcing package that PTG provide, we are able to tailor deliveries to our customers' requirements. We have extensive knowledge of most delivery types, and use customer delivery requirements with systems such as Kan Ban, Schedule Deliveries Consignment and Just In Time.
